The usually excellent thermals as well as the spectacular panorama make the Wallberg an Eldorado for paragliders and hang-gliders.

It is not uncommon for local golden eagles to accompany the flight of the colorful featherless comrades.

Those who don't take to the skies themselves can still gain an impression of the fascination of flying. The take-off and flight maneuvers can be observed directly below the mountain station.
